AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

POSSIBLE • VISITORS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. There is a possibility that Dr. Peltzer and a German sprinter may visit New Zealand as the Victorian Association has written asking if New Zealand is prepared to contribute half the cost of transport from Germany to Australia, plus the fares to and from New Zealand and maintenance while in the Dominion. If the offer is accepted Dr. Peltzer will probably be in the Dominion about the end of January or the beginning of February, 1929. A special meeting of delegates is to be called to consider the matter, which is considered most important. Tho council approved of a report to hold the championship between New Zealand and Australia alternately in both countries.
