BYRD EXPEDITION.

SHIP’S COURSE ALTERED

DUNEDIN, Oct. 27. The Byrd expedition ships have now altered their course. A radio message from Commander Byrd states that the steamer Larsen is carrying tlie supplies for the expedition, and is putting in at Wellington. Fifteen men of the expedition, including the business manager, Mr Richard Brophy, are aboard the Larsen. The members of the expedition will stay in Dunedin before leaving for the Antarctic.
