GLASGOW UNIVERSITY.

(British Official Wireless.) Received October 29, 1.5 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 28. Apart from the usual “ragging,” the ichief interest in the Glasgow University Rectorial elections was the fact that the well-known author, Mr Cunninghame Graham, who stood as a Scottish Nationalist, polled within 66 votes of the Prime Minister’s total. It 'is stated that the Scottish Nationalists intend to contest future Parliamentary elections in Scotland . independently of the three great political parties. The party bases its appeal on the alleged neglect of national" interests in Parliament at Westminster.
