FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
The usual fortnightly meeting of Loyal Manawatu Lodge was held last evening in tho Oddfellows’ Hall, tlicic being o good attendance, which was presided over by Sister H. Scroggs. The first juvenile member was enrolled m the newlv inaugurated juvenile lodge. Bro Ileaphey was presented with a past grand’s travelling certificate. The lodge closed at 9.25, when a tasty supper was provided by the lady members.
