TAKARO CHURCH HALL.

OLD TIME DANCE,

An old-time dance and social arranged by the social committee of the Takaro Church Hall last night, proved a big success, about fifty couples attending and spending an enjoyable evening. A waltzing competition was won by Miss McKay and Mr Davies, while spot-light dances were well received, the lighting arrangements being in the the hands of Mr A. C. Wollerman, who also fulfilled the duties of M.C. A .dainty supper was dispensed by the ladies’ committee, and the floor and music met with general approval. Another dance will be held on September 20.
