COAL INDUSTRY.
TRADING LOSS IN SOUTH WALES. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Sept. 2. The trading loss in the South Wales coal-mining industry for the quarter ending July totalled £805,372, the largest deficit since the operation of the present general wages agreement. The volume of labour employed is the smallest since 1904, 163,000, compared with 197,000 ip the early part of 1927.
