MOTOR SMASH.

HON. O. NELSON INJURED,

ONE OF PARTY OF EIGHT,

(United Service). Received September 4, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 3. Hon. Olaf Nelson, tho leader of the Samoan malcontents, his daughter, Lucy Nelson, and his secretary, Mr Rex Pleasant, were among the eight injured in a motor smash at a narrow canal bridge at Watford, near Rugby. Two cars collided broadside on and crashed into a hedge. Tho occupants were thrown on to the roadway. Mr Nelson sustained a cut on tho forehead and eyelid. Miss Lucy Nelson and Mr Pleasant are suffering from been sent to hospital with head inshock. The chauffeur, Hoskings, has juries. Both cars were extensively damaged.
