TROUBLE AT SOCIAL.

As a result of a disturbance at a social at Pukerua Bay, three men, Charles Johansen, Frank Stewart and George M. Lacy, were charged with behaving in a disorderly manner, using obscene language and committing mischief to the value of £3.
It was stated that accused paid for admittance and there was free access to a quantity of beer. Accused used the language and behaved in a disorderly manner, and during a fight a tray of glasses was broken. Mr Page, S.M., held that the place was not a public one and that the mischief was not intentional. He dismissed the charges.
