In the first round of the boys’ golf championship at Forrnby, a thirteen-year-old boy named Risdon, the smallest competitor, defeated at the nineteenth hole Peter Pharazyn, of New Zealand, after tho latter had led 3 up and 5. Pharazyn, who is 17 years of age, is a brother of the ex-captain of Cambridge University.
