RESPONDENT FAILS TO APPEAR.

AUCKLAND, Aug. 22. There being no appearance of the respondent, a decree nisi was granted by Mr Justice Blair in tho suit by May Olivo Cameron for a divorce from Peter McFarlano Cameron. The case was heard on Friday when tho wife made allegations of drunkenness and cruelty against tho husband. Tho hearing had been adjourned to give tho respondent, who was absent an opportunity of answering the allegations.
