Miss B. Humphreys, of Now Plymouth, is staying with Mr and Mrs ,G. H. Humphreys, Russell Street. • Miss B. South, of South Street, Palmerston North, is at present in Auckland where sho will attend the wedding of Miss Nancy Coop, of Onehunga. At the monthly meeting of the Technical School Committee last evening, tho resignation of Miss E. M. Burrell as part time teacher in the shorthand class was received with regret.
