VEHICLES COLLIDE.

MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED

Shortly after one o’clock this afternoon a collision occurred at the intersection of Church and Ruahine Streets between a motor cyclist and a car, as a result of which the driver of tho former sustained painful injuries. Tho motor cycle was proceeding along Ruahine Street from tho railway line, and at the intersection with Church Street failed to notice the car, which was travelling immediately behind another, which effectively obscured the motor cyclist’s view. The collision was severe enough for the cyclist to be dragged across the road.
