BRITISH RAILWAYS.

Railway shopmen last night accepted the agreement with the railway companies for a two anda-half per cent, reduction in wages and salaries. The agreement lias already been approved by tlio locomotive engineers and firemen, and the National Union of Railwaymen, and tlie only ratification now required is that of the Railway Clerks’ Association. Their acceptance, however, is fully anticipated.
