NEW CLASS ROOMS.
FOR COLLEGE STREET SCHOOL
PLANS SENT TO DEPARTMENT.
At last evening’s meeting of the College Street School Committee tlie following letter, under date July 10, dealing with the proposed new buildings lor tho infant deparment, was received from the Wanganui Education Board :—‘.‘With reference to previous correspondence respecting the matter of accommodation at College Street School, I have to inform you that the necessary plans, estimate and an application for a grant for the erection of four rooms for the accommodation of the infant department were forwarded to the Education Department, Wellington, yesterday. Alternative prices for a building in brick and in wood have been submitted, with an intimation that the board desires the building to be in brick.” The letter was received.
