FULL-TIME OFFICER.
DIRECTOR OF TOWN PLANNING
AVELLINGTON, July 31. The terms of the appointment of Che new Director of Town Planning (Mr J. Mawson) were made public in the House of Representatives to-day by the Acting-Minister of Internal Affairs (Sir Maui Pornare) in reply, to a question by Mr G. AV. Forbes (Hurunui). The Minister stated that the director was a full-time officer, and his salary was £I2OO a year. He was not permitted to engage in private practice/
