ALL BLACKS’ TOUR

TEAM FOR TO-MORROW. AGAINST NORTHERN DISTRICTS. BIG GAME SHOOT. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Special to Press Association.) Received July 6, 8.45 a.m. KIMBERLEY, July 5. Tho New Zealand team for the match to-morrow at Kimberley against Northern Districts is as follows: Full-back—D. LINDSAY. Three-quarters —C. RUSHBROOKE, T. R. SHEEN, F. LUCAS. •Five-eigths—M. NICHOLLS, N. McGREGOK. Half—F. KILBY. Rover—lt. STEWART. Hookers—J. HORE, S. HADLEY. Lock—S. ALLEY/ Suppports—C. BROWNLIE, I. FINLAYSON. Back row —P. WARD, R. McWI-j-LIAMS. The selectors of tho Springbok team refused to allow members of the Test fifteen to play in the Kimberley match. They are actuated no doubt by a dc-s:ve to rest their players and a feeling of consideration for the All Blacks, who would have had to play, what w .uld have amounted to practically a Test team in consecutive weeks. The Griqualand Rugby Union is highly indignant. J. Burrows is still unavailable, not having recovered from an injured cartilege of the ribs. A BUCK HUNT. Yesterday tho New Zealanders took part in a buck shoot on an estate about 27 miles from Bloemfontein. Many old local hunters said that the shoot was one of the finest they had ever attended. About seventy took part and a bag of fiftyfour was secured, including buck, springbok, blesbok and wildebeeste. All the beasts were shot by the All Blacks and a real South African picnic meal, with typical dishes, was enjoyed by'the party. It was a picturesque spot at the foot of a kopje sheltered by tall rocks and shaded by trees. During the meal Wildebeeste appeared not far away and many of the party, left their lunch and stalkqd the animals. Members of the team regard the shoot as easily the best in their experience since they have been in South Africa.
