CHICKENS BURNED.

FIRE ON POULTRY FARM. AUCKLAND, July 5. A small building on the Sunnybank Poultry Farm, Papatoetoe, the property of Mr W. G. Lynn, was destroyed by fire last evening. Considerable damage was done to the contents, which included two 500-egg incubators, while between 600 and 700 chickens were lost. The building and contents were insured for £275. It was the first call of the newlyformed Papatoetoe Fire Brigade, which combined with the Otahuhu brigade in controlling the outbreak.
