DELEGATES TO CANADA.

DIFFICULT POSITION,

(Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 5.

Meetings of the Parliamentary parties held this morning discussed the proposal to send delegates to Canada under the auspices of the Empire Parliamentary Association. The delegates will leavo New Zealand on July ijl and return in October. The situation is rendered a little difficult by the fact that this is election year, but in spite of this it was felt that New Zealand should be represented since Canada specially desired it, and further meetings will be held to-morrow, when the selection of the delegates will probably be made.
