OLD PEOPLE’S HOME.

VISITED BY ORPHEUS SOCIETY. \ The Palmerston North Orpheus Society, under the conductorsliip of Mr T. P. Henderson, paid their annual visit to the Old People’s Homo at Awapuni last evening. Quito a lengthy programme was given, consisting of conoerted numbers, solos, duets, quartettes, etc., and two items by Master Caterick. At the conclusion of the programme, a vote of thanks with wishes for a speedy return was carried by tho inmates of the Home. A very enjoyable supper was provided by the matron and staff and was very much appreciated by the visitors.
