CHESS CLUB.
There was almost a full attendance at the Chess Club last evening, when the draw for the coming tourney, was declared. Twelve entries for the championship tourney and six more the minor event were received. A questionnaire from the New Zealand Association with reference to various alterations to improve the running of the championship tournev at Christmas was received and discussed. Mr A. H. M. Wright was nominated as president of the New Zealand Association.
