Angus, chairman of directors of the Vale of Clwydd No. 2 Co., has offered to givo tho material for a public hall at Angus Place, a now mining settlement at Lidsdale, on condition “that when the hall is used for religious purposes only the English language shall be spoken.” Tho Progress Association lias been asked to see Mr Angus on the matter, •as the stipulation is resented by the residents.
