(From Our Own Correspondent.) TOKOMAUU, Juno 14. Mr Donald Wilton, who has been visiting his uncle, Mr H. Wilton, of Itangiolu, for some extended time, has now returned to hia home. , , . Mr Alex Grady returned this week from an enjoyable holiday spent in Auckland. Mr and Mrs E. Bull intend to return to Dannovirkc this week. Miss Elsie Morgan, of 1 almerston North, is visiting her sister, Mrs Bert Wilton. , r Miss Molly Bree has now returned from a holiday spent in Auckland. Miss Evelyn Walden, of Palmerston North, spent a few days with her mother, Mrs Alex Todd. Mrs Erie Vaughan is spending the weekend with her mother, Mrs H. Morgan. • Mrs A. McLaggan was operated on last Wednesday and her condition is now reported to be satisfactory and a speedy recovery is to he hoped for. Last Tuesday night Messrs I/. Kars and
K. Lovelock met -with a nasty accident. They were cycling to their homes when they collided with one another. Mr Kars sustained a cut above the right eye which had to have four stitches in, while Mr Lovelock was rendered unconscious and had to bo carried into Mr H. Kar’s residence. He has since been removed to his home. The football team to play Weraroa at Weraroa will lie chosen from the following:—lrwin, Bennett (2). Walden, Wilton, Peach, Moody, Kelly, Williams (2), Free, Hall, Guy, Sherman, Clarke, Grady and Jameson. The match is to be played on Saturday afternoon. Quito a number of members of the local Bind Bodge journeyed to a lodge meeting hold in Pahjiorston North last Tuesday and an enjoyable evening was spent.
