Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 14

Algernon James Body, aged 56, was remanded on hail until June 21 on 15 charges of failure to account to the Southern Cross Insurance Co. for sums totalling £153. A young Public Trust Office clerk whoso name was suppressed pleaded guilty (and was remanded in custody for a week for the probation officer’s report.) to three charges of the theft of moneys amounting to £55 14s.
