DOMINION FARMERS.
GUESTS OF LONDON CITY

The Dominion farmers wore guests of the Corporation of London. They visited Smithfield meat market, Spitalfield’s fruit and potato market, and then were accorded a reception by the Lord Mayor. Subsequently the Central Markets Committeo tendered them a luncheon. Alderman Neal who presided, said that Britain was looking to the fanners more and more for her daily bread. Ho urged them to develop the market for beef, sheep and wheat. Mr Fisher (North Canterbury) responded. Mr Barwell also spoke.
