FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
COURT MANAWATU,
The fortnightly meeting of Court Manawatu, A.0.F., Iso. 5655, was held in ‘ tho Foresters’ Hall on Monday night. Tho C.R., Bro. E. \ r . Rogers, presided over a good . attendance of members, including visitors from Court Hinemoa aud one from Australia. Nominations of officers took place and quite a largo number were nominated for tho various offices. The election takes place next court night. One member was initiated into tho court and order and one proposed for membership. At the conclusion of the meeting the brethren adjourned to the supper room where the usual lodge card tourney took place. A short meeting of the social committee wm held to decide future entertainment.!.
