FALL OF EARTH.
DEATH OF A MINER
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 23. While working in Shag Point coal mine this morning, "William James Robinson was buried under a fall of earth and killed. Robinson, who is a single man, 36 years of age, was erecting some staging in company with a. workmate, when six tons of earth fell from above. His workmate jumped clear, receiving only a cut on the head, but Robinson was completely buried. His body was recovered after three hours.
