The headmaster of H arrow, Dr. Cyril Norwood, at, the opening of the Weston Birt School, recommended the girls to study the lines from Charles Kingsley’s poem “Farewell’ : “Be good, sweet maid, and let who will be clover. “Do noble things, not dream them all
day long, “And so make life, death, and that
vast forever “One grand, sweet song.”
