SERIOUS CHARGE.
ADJOURNMENT' GRANTED.

When the case against a minister aged 49, on a charge of indecent assault' was called - to-day before Mr E. Page, S.M.,—the case was adjourned from last week—Dir A.. Gray, K.C.. who appeared on accused’s behalf, said that he regretted that he had received information during the last few- minutes that accused had met will a serious accident- and. hack been,.sent to hospital, where he was likely to remain for three months. _ He asked for a formal, remand until the position was definite. Mr- Macassey suggested that the patient!s condition be ascertained after a fortnight. Mr Page agreed and the remand was granted for a fortnight, a further application if necessary then to be be made.
