Mr Charles Todd, well-known as a prohibition leader, is a definite candidate for the Wakatipu seat m the Reform interests. • CANDIDATES FOR RAGLAN. ANOTHER REFORMER MENTIONED. IIUNTLY. May 7. Mr William Brown, of Glen Afton, will' bo a candidate in the Reform interests for the Raglan seat at the forthcoming general election. Mr Brown has beeii engaged in the mining industry for many years and lie is regarded as a good .platform speaker. Mr Walter Seavill lias been selected as the official Reform candidate. Endorsement. of Mr Scavill’s selection has been received from the leader of the Reform party. Mr Coates, who has telegraphed Mr D. Hebenton, stating: “I have telegraphed Mr Seavill endorsing his selection and wishing him success in the ensuing campaign. Warmly appreciate terms of resolution passed at the conference.”
