The dead body of Airs Gilbert was discovered in a sitting position in the Blue Mountains, near Ratoomba. She was in ill-health and wandered from her home on Easter Alonday. A long search has been made by men ever since, and tho husband offering a reward of £SO. Airs Gilbert’s death apparently was peaceful. The body was found at the bottom of a cliff with the shoes and stockings removed. It is believed that Mrs Gilbert wandered down a steep pass to a rock ledge! where she sat down and died'. *
