FORCED LANDING RESULTS,

Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 21. The stalling of an aeroplane engine caused a slight accident at Sockburn aerodrome this morning. Captain Findlay was flying in .an Avno instructional machine and his pupil was Cadet Jenkins. . . The engine failed and a hedge looming up in front it was necessary to force a landing to .avoid a more serious accident. . . , Captain Findlay sustained a slight cut over one eye, but Cadet Jenkins was not injured. The undercarriage of the machine was slightly damaged.
