MURIWAI BEACH MEETING.

(By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 20. Racing cars from Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and New South Wales have been entered for the meeting to be held on the Muriwai Beach on February 4. The local field is expected to include the winner of the New Zealand Motor Cup for two years in succession, an eight-cylinder machine specially built for track racing, and an eightcyliiider car. A special machine designed and built by Parry Thomas, who was killed while attempting records in Great Britain a year ago, is expected from the south. The Australian competitors will leave Sydney next Friday. Tlieir machines comprise two four-cvlindor cars and one eight-cylinder model.
