RONGOTEA, Jan. 20. At the Methodist Church’s quarterly meeting held on Wednesday evening a resolution was passed extending to Mrs Tremain and family the sympathy of Methodists in their hour of sorrow. Among ths many beautiful floral tributes placed upon the grave were wreaths from members o fthc central vestry (Rongotea), Methodist Church (Sanson and Rongotea circuit), Bulls branch of the C.E.M.S., Plunket Society (Rongotea), Presbyterian Church (Rongotea), vestry of All Saints’, Rangiotu parishioners, St. Peter’s Church (Terraco End), Glen Oroua parishioners, choir and ladies’ guild (St. Jude’s) parishioners and friends (Taikorea). Miss M. Palmer commenced duty us a nurso at a private hospital in Palmerston North on Friday. Miss Florenco Rose has returned from a holiday spent with friends at Castlecliff.
