FIRE IN BOYS’ SCHOOL,

THIRTY-SIX LIVES LOST.

OTTAWA Dec. 16. Another disastrous fire destroyed the St. Louis Academy boarding school for boys .at Quebec. Two hundred inmates were rescued The damage is estimated at a quarter of a million dollars. Like the hospice of St. Charles, the academy was destroyed on a Wednesday. The known loss is 36 lives. The school was conducted by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.—A. and N.Z. cable.
