After a lengthy hearing Mr Cruicksliank, -S.M., said: “There is no question but that anyone who likes can practise medicine. No On© who has the power or skill to help suffering mankind should be prohibited from practising his skill. An unregistered man is quite recognised and has a legal status. The word “professor” ha 3 so deteriorated in riieaning that it eain even be applied to a man whotrains dogs. Any man who puts an advertisement on his door like that displayed- in Gourt by-tho defence cannot be taken for a doctor.”

Tire case was dismissed. Counsel was allowed the right to appeal.
