CADET PILOTS.
RUSH OF APPLICATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 17. The rush of applications for the vacancies of ten cadet pilots in the New Zealand air office which has occurred in other centres has also been experienced in Auckland. Over 50 applications havo already been made to the Defence Department. All the youths could not obtain enough details of flying and expressed the keenest enthusiasm at the prospect of entering the service.
