Gratification at the decision of the local retailers to observe an extra half day during the Spring Show was expressed at the meeting of the general committee of the Manawatu A. and P. Association this morning by the president, Mr L. H. Collinson. Mr J. M. Johnston remarked that he was pleased to find that the retailers were working in the interests of the Show. Dyed fugi silks will be popular this summer both for under and outer wear on account of their reliability and general utility. A splended line is offered by C. and C’s. in a good quality with lustrous finish in 24 different shades at 2s lid yard. —Collinson and Cunninghamo. Ltd.— Advt.
