NEWS RECEIVED IN PARIS. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received Oct. 14, 12.25 p.m. PARIS, Oct. 13. The first news of Miss Ruth Elder’s rescue was received by an American newspaper office in Paris, a wireless message saying that she had landed by the steamer Baron Droocht, the monoplane having a broken oil line, but both she and her companion were unhurt. It is believed that the position of the Baron Droocht is 600 miles north-east of the Azores.—A. and N.Z. cable.
