PERSONAL.

The death occurred in Wanganui yesterday morning of Miss Hannah (Cissie) Hancock, who was so popularly known in Palmerston North musical circles before she recently removed to Wanganui to take up the position of conductress of His Afajesty s Theatre orchestra. The late Aliss Hancock had been for some years in Palmerston North, and was known to a large circle. Of a very bright personality she was exceedingly well-liked, and her comparatively sudden death at an early age will be deeply regretted. Miss Hancock was with His Majesty’s orchestra on Tuesday evening, but was taken ill the next day and removed to hospital, where she died early yesterday morning. She was the daughter of Airs Hannah Hancock and the late Air Brigham Hancock, of Riverton, where the interment will take place.
