A meeting of retailers will bo held at Mr W. McKenzie’s rooms on Monday evening next at 7.30, to consider the hours under the now shop assistants’ award (which comes into force on Monday) and other important matters. The New Dispensational series of addresses given at the Kosy Hall in connection with the Palmerston North mission will bo resumed to-morrow night. The subject will be “The Fall —Results and Remedy.” The large chart will be used and questions dealt with. A special series of announcements of world happenings will be made each Sunday evening.
