NEW SOUTH WALES TOURISTS

Received September 8, 11.30 a.m. LONDON,. Sept. 7. The New South Wales Waratahs Rugby fifteen played the first practice match of the tour, defeating a Plymouth team by 21 to 11. They gave a good exhibition.

The Waratahs proved themselves past masters at quick passing at high speed, and gave a good exhibition of speed and co-operation, bursting through determined opposition.

At half time the Waratahs sent on twelve fresh men.—A. and N.Z. cable.
