ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE.

MORRINSVILLE SHAKEN. MOST SEVERE SINCE DECEMBER. MORRINSVILLE, Sept. 5. Morrinsville was shaken by a severe earthquake shock at 4.25 this afternoon. The ’quake, which was accompanied by a low rumbling sound, lasted for about a second, having a sidelong motion. It is the most severe since the visitations of last November and December, when considerable damage was done and it eclipsed in severity the five or six shocks that occurred several months ago. Shopkeepers who have breakable goods on their shelves had taken the precaution of wiring them in so that practically ino damage occurred. Goods were shaken from several of the shelves, but the damage is negligible.
