ST. PAUL’S CHURCH.
There was another good congregation at St Paul’s, Broadway Avenue, when Rev. Basil Metson conducted the second service of tho mission, and tho service was marked by a spirit of reverent interest in every part. Taking for Ins text the words, “Wherefore He is able to so.vo them to the uttermost tlicit came unto God by Him,” the preacher took for his subject “The Very Limit.” Three points 'were emphasised. First, that Jesus saved to the uttermost limit of human need; second, that He fulfilled to the uttermost limit the Divine promises; third, that He saved to the uttermost limit of time. “Between the saddle and the ground Is mercy sought and mercy found.” With telling illustration and searchexhortation, these points were carried to the hearts and minds of the hearers. The singing of hymns from the Crusader Hymnal greatly helped the services, as also did a solo rendered by Mr L. Collier.
