DAY OF REST.
TURKEY WILL OBSERVE SUNDAY. CHANGE FROM FRIDAY. CONSTANTINOPLE, Aug. 30. In order to conform to international custom, also for financial and economic reasons, Turkey has adopted Sunday a 6 a day of rest. Hitherto, in conjunction with the other Moslem countries, Friday has been reserved for worship. Henceforth Sunday will be re-named Friday.—A. and N.Z. cablo.
