STORM OF PROTEST.
REFUSAL TO BROADCAST ADDRESS.

AUCKLAND, Aug. 17. A storm of protest aaginst the refusal of the Radio Broadcasting Coy. to broadcast tlio address of Mr C. C. Munro, ex-president of the Auckland provincial branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, was raised at a meeting of the executive. It was stated that the company, after asking for the address, refused it and that the Postmaster-General endorsed the refusal, saying that the matter was unsuitable for broadcasting. It was decided to inform the Post-master-General that his reply was unsatisfactory and to outline for his benefit the views expressed at the meeting.
