DEATH SENTENCE COMMUTED
SYDNEY, Aug. 15. The death sentence on Cedric Ryan, who was found guilt” of the murder of Nellie Howard, a waitress, who was found 6tabbed on a river bank op. May 9, has been commuted to imprisonment for life.—Press Association.
