GREAT SIGNIFICANCE BELIEVED,

LONDON, Aug. 14.

The Daily Express says that important plans) for the reorganisation of the Miner’s Federation will, when completed, bo submitted to the executive for official approval. The change is likely to have great significance in the whole trades union movement.

It indicates a return to pure industrialism by the Miners’ Federation, which hitherto has been more revolutionary than any other trades organisation. Likewise it will mean a restriction of the activities of Mr A. J. Cook, the secretary of the federation.—A. and N.Z. cable.
