CERTIFICATES AWARDED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 16. A meeting of the court of directors of the Royal Humane Society decided to award framed certificates for bravery to the following: Alan Alexander Baynes, police constable, of Lyttelton; John Lee Wilson, a Union Steamship Company’s employee, of Lyttelton; Keith Johnstone, launch man, of Port Ahuriri, Napier; and Myrtle Hyacinth Wood, assistant teacher, of Te Kin, Taranaki.
