SACRED CONCERT.

ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH

The St Patrick’s Church choir, augmented by several other vocalists, presented a sacred concert in the church last evening, which was greatly appreciated by the large congregation. The numbers presented all attained a high standard of musical excellence, but the best item of the evening was probably the rendition of Bordesi's “0 Salutaris” by Mrs C. P. Nash. Under the baton of Mr C. H. Greening, the choir’s concerted numbers were all well chosen and proved most enjoyable. Miss Cora Bartlett was a most efficient organist. The progr^nme rendered was as under: —Choir, “Credo” (Me6se-Solenelle-Guonod): solo, “Come unto Him” (Handel), Mrs E. J. Leydon; trio, “Ave Maria” (Marchetti), Misses V. G. Bartlett, R. O’Reilly and R. Butler; solo, “De Profundis,” Mr C. Roberts; duet, “Crucifix” (Faure), Mrs .E. McDonald and Miss> V. G. Bartlett; solo, “For .all Eternity,” Miss M. O’Grady; choir, “"Salve Regina” ; solo, “A Legend,” Mr R. B. Ross: trio, “0 Quam Suavis,” Misses Bropliy. R. Butler, R. O’Reilly; choir, “Kyrie” (Mozart’s 7th Ma 66), soloist, Mrs E. J.
