WELLINGTON, Aug. 15,

A statement that a very well-known member of Parliament lias recently married the. daughter of ail equally well-known Wellington family is untrue.

The story lias already obtained wide circulation and is spreading throughout the Dominion, and it is just as well that it should be contradicted before it gains further currency.
